Created an explainer video for ABC13’s Action 13 Town Hall to clearly communicate the initiative’s purpose and community impact. I shot and edited the video, capturing interviews and on-site footage to establish the narrative, then integrated custom motion graphics, animated text, and branded visual elements to enhance clarity and viewer engagement. The final piece delivers an accessible, polished overview of how Action 13 serves Houston communities.

Produced a Back to School interview series spotlighting ABC13 employees and their roles in supporting the Houston community. I shot and edited the full set of videos, creating a cohesive visual style across all segments. This installment, one of a ten-part series, features Senior Manager of News and Content Holly Adams, blending thoughtful storytelling with clean motion graphics and branded lower-thirds to enhance viewer engagement.

Produced the full on-air graphic package for the 45th Annual Houston Pride Parade, including the opening motion graphic, full-screen designs, and lower thirds. In addition to creating the broadcast visuals, I was also onsite providing videography support, capturing a live cut-in with anchors for promotional use and developing social media content to extend the parade’s reach across platforms.

Designed and animated a motion graphics explainer for the University of Houston’s CougAR Lab, visualizing complex research on personality detection algorithms, DISC profiling, and user “folk theories.” I created a clear narrative structure supported by custom illustrations, animated data sequences, and typographic treatments to make the research understandable for a wide audience. The final video not only enhanced the lab’s communication of its findings but also contributed to CougAR Lab securing a featured partnership placement on Crystal’s website, increasing the lab’s visibility and industry reach.
